1. Membership is open to all persons in diaspora.
2. Children of members referred above are expected to become full members from the age of 16 years.
3. Associate membership may be granted to individuals who are not defined as Persons in Diaspora, on the recommendation of the Executive Board provided that such membership would not be detrimental to the objectives of the organisation.
4. Passive membership is offered to public or private institutions with great interest in the development of the organisation in Ghana.
5. Membership is regulated by paying an annual membership fee of 40 pounds. Members who are in arrears for two consecutive years lose their voting rights which may be reopened after payment of two years arrears plus the current membership fee.
